March Food Drive

For the month of March we did a food drive for the DVCC (Domestic Violence Crisis Center). They are located in Stamford, CT and help to provide counseling for victims of domestic violence. The DVCC is always in need of non-perishable food items to help feed individuals and families who are facing severe food insecurity. All of the items we collected have been put into parcels to be given out throughout this year. Doing this food drive throughout the month of March was extra special because International Woman's Day was on March 8th. The DVCC has helped many women, and the donations we collected were/will be able to help provide them essential food items.

In one of the pictures below, I am standing with the manager of the DVCC, Anita Lai. It was a very special experience doing this drive for the DVCC and working with Anita. I am looking forward to doing more food drives for the DVCC in the future.
